Palm Harbor Trenchless Pipelining - Repiping - Pipe Relining

Note: Trenchless pipelining is 100% safe for drinking water. It is used by cities around the country and is as safe as cast iron, stainless steel, PVC and other common water pipes. Our pipelining materials exceed ASTM specifications for drinking water and pipe longevity. Which means are liners are guaranteed to last a minimum of 50 years underground.

Are you having trouble with an underground or under concrete pipe? Did you know that fixing an underground pipe, doesn't require the use of jackhammer's and shovel's. For the past 25 years trenchless pipelining has been used to repair and rehabilitate underground plumbing, sewer, water and drain pipes, without the need of digging a trench. The main reason home, condo and small business owners haven't heard of this money saving technology is because the equipment to install and perform pipe re-lining is very costly, and most plumbers don't want to invest in it. Well here at Palm Harbor Plumbing we have invested in it and our pipelining crew is trained and experienced to handle any type of lining or pipe rehab job, big or small.

The Pipelining Installation Process: The first step in every pipelining project is a complete inspection of the pipe in question. We use a CCTV to go through the entire pipe (sewer, water, drain line), this allows us to see the extent of the damage and what type of materials will be needed to complete the job. Next, we prepare the materials, which involves cutting the liner to size and impregnating the liner with an epoxy resin. Next the liner is dragged or pushed into place over the damaged pipe. After is it in place a balloon like device is inflated inside the pipe liner and this causes the pipe liner to press against the pipe, which creates a new pipe inside the existing pipe. After about 3 hours of drying, the pipe is inspected and if it passes inspection, the pipe can be put back in service immediately. A typical pipe lining job for a home or condo takes between 5-8 hours.
